SUMMARY
Tracks, coordinates and provides timely production data enabling leads within shops to accurately and efficiently meet internal goals and external deadlines
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Production
• Tracks and maintains accurate production information – from cradle to grave, ensuring that projects are completed and customer expectations are met.
• Generates and maintains production reports and disseminates that information to manufacturing supervisors in a timely fashion.
• Creates purchase orders for acquisition of materials
• Maintains inventory of raw materials used in all production departments.
• Maintains inventory of finished goods in multiple yards.
• Coordinates trucking schedule using internal trucking and external vendors
• Works with operations management to identify progress against milestones. Advises management as to problems in attaining production goals in advance.
• Uses operational standards from the bids for planning purposes. Compares actual results and consults with the plant operations manager to advise as to adjustments that may be necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
A candidate for this position must have 5 years educational and operations planning and reporting experience in manufacturing process management or construction / project management.
SKILL SETS REQUIRED
Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
Outstanding research, organizational and planning skills, and the ability to improvise.
Strong MS Excel aptitude.
